NEW TIMES! 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM

Due to current limits on indoor gathering sizes, we are pleased to announce that we are moving Night With the Opera: Tokyo to downtown’s iconic Blue Bridge! In addition to meeting current health and safety guidelines, the Grand Rapids skyline will create the perfect backdrop for the evening.

To accommodate all our guests safely, attendees will be divided into two groups. The first will start at 6:00 PM and go until 7:45 PM, and the second will start at 8:00 PM and conclude around 10:00 PM. Attendees will be contacted about their preferred time.

Join us for an exciting evening of fun, food and entertainment! Enjoy cocktails from an open bar and bento boxes to-go with entertainment from 2BaysDJs. Then, be wowed by the talents of the Detroit Youth Choir, fresh off their second place win on America’s Got Talent! Event chair Kyle Van Andel will award the Betty Van Andel Scholarship to a promising opera student. And new this year, the winner of the expanded Collegiate Vocal Competition will also perform.

The best part? Proceeds will support Music Education in West Michigan through the mission of Opera Grand Rapids!
