Friends of the Opera hosts this complimentary wine and cheese chat with Opera Grand Rapids’ Artistic Director Robert Lyall. Through discussion of the score, history, characters, and music, Maestro Lyall provides a conductor’s unique insight into the opera. The fun begins Sundays at 4pm, at Schuler Books & Music, 2660 28th Street SE.

Pre-Performance Talks
Free with the purchase of any Opera Grand Rapids’ ticket, Grand Valley State University Professor Dr. John Schuster-Craig offers a preview of the opera just before curtain. Join us in the orchestra seating area at 6:30 for an informative peek into the performance.
