Volunteer
Opera Grand Rapids utilizes the help and expertise of hundreds of volunteers each season. From sewers in the costume shop, to greeters at performances and events, to set movers, and help with annual mailings, you can find the perfect way to give back by volunteering. Wish List
As a non-profit organization with the mission to present high-quality, live opera to the community, you can imagine that we might need a few things each season. That’s where you come in!
This is a listing of just some of the materials Opera Grand Rapids needs to utilize each season to bring you the live art-form of opera. From office supplies to facility maintenance materials and as far out as wigs, glow tape, and sewing machines: there are hundreds of ways in which you can donate small items to make a big impact at Opera Grand Rapids.
An easy way to support Opera Grand Rapids’ needs list is through the Opera Grand Rapids Amazon Wish List. If you shop on-line, follow the links to purchase and mail these needs directly to Opera Grand Rapids. All donated items are eligible for a Tax Receipt for the value you paid for each item.
Planned Giving
It’s exciting and fulfilling to create a philanthropic plan that goes beyond your lifetime. “Planned Giving” refers to gifts that come from your estate during life or after death. This is a wonderful way to extend your support for the organizations or causes you love.
Planned Giving:
- Helps to fund endowments that stabilize annual funding
- Can provide cash for specific projects
- Inspires other to leave similar gifts
Make a Monthly Gift
A monthly “Sustaining” gift is a way in which you can offer continuous support to Opera Grand Rapids without the need for a large, one-time gift that can sometimes be a challenge. Consider dividing up your desired donation into a low, monthly amount that can be automatically charged.
